The Union Finance Minister made the announcement in his speech at the Srimanta Shankardev International Theatre in Guwahati, which opened the Public Service Rights Web Platform. The bridge will connect Suwalkushi and Amingaon as well as perhaps Guwahati airport. The cost of construction of this bridge will be 3, 094 crore. This will reduce travel time in Guwahati and Barpeta, Nalbari, Amingaon etc. This project will help in preventing the collapse of Brahmaputra and will help in overall economic development of the state.'

The highest emphasis has been laid on public infrastructure construction with public funds. Steps have also been taken for private sector investment in this sector. National Pipeline Scheme has already been launched. The way various development projects are progressing in Assam, people will see a change in the state in just a few years. He said- "In the last four months, the state's in-built projects have gained a new momentum. The way the Assam government has taken measures to plan and implement various projects, This will enable us to move forward as soon as other developed states in the country. In the last four months, government services have been made available to the public with the help of technology. Recently, arrangements have been made to provide driving learner's services online. In the last two months, 75,000 people have not visited the transport officer's office. Learner has been able to get a loan. Further registration process has been made online at the recruitment exchange centre. The new service was started about 10 days ago. In these 10 days, about 7,000 people have been able to register their names online from home to the recruitment exchange centre. Similarly, Vasundhara campaign has been taken to solve all land related problems. 11 revenue services have been provided online inaddition to the revenue officer's office. Seven thousand land related applications have already been received.'

Terming this as a remarkable day, he said that various government services will be available in one of the ports from now on. The state government will try to make about 90 services available through this channel within the next six months. 2023 Noting that the government has set a target of bringing about a complete change in the public system by March 31, he said his aim is to take Assam to the ranks of better states by completing all development projects in time.
